Andalucía Play Fest

Andalucía Play Fest is a new event that brings together three of the main events in Spain's video game ecosystem: Iris Games Awards, Guadalindie and Retropixel. During three days, industry professionals, independent studios, emerging creators and enthusiasts will meet in Málaga to share video games, innovation, networking and digital culture. The festival connects industry, talent and community in a single event. The Iris Games Awards are the national competition promoted by the Academy of Television and Audiovisual Sciences and Arts and the Málaga City Council to recognize the creative excellence of video games developed in Spain. Guadalindie is one of the main professional meetings dedicated to indie video games in Spain, connecting independent studios, publishers, investors and emerging talent. Retropixel is dedicated to classic video game culture and historical systems, bringing together exhibitions, conferences and activities related to digital heritage and technological preservation.
