Bread & Heart Festival 2026

The second edition of Albania's Bread & Heart festival celebrates the work of global architects and Albanian hospitality. The event brings together around 150 of architecture's most influential figures for three days of exhibitions, talks, workshops, networking events, and festive gatherings. The festival serves as a celebration of Albanian hospitality and its ongoing development, a tribute to architectural achievements, and an invitation to critically reflect on the past and present in order to build a better future for cities and the environment. The main venue is the Book Building, featuring conference venues, outdoor installations, model exhibitions, and access to the historic Tirana Clock Tower. The festival includes welcoming ceremonies, terrace lunches with rooftop views, workshops in Elbasan, and various networking opportunities. The event aims to create space for genuine encounters between international guests, local collaborators, and new allies in an informal setting that favors curiosity, conversation, and camaraderie.
