The Powerhouse by The Rich Entertainment Group

The Powerhouse by The Rich Entertainment Group

140 Lee Street, Buffalo, Missouri, United States, 14210

The Powerhouse by The Rich Entertainment Group is a unique historical 22,000 square foot event space nestled in the heart of industrial Buffalo, New York. Originally constructed in 1917 as The Schoellkopf Powerhouse, the building served as the home of Aniline Chemical Company, a world-leading manufacturer of dyes and colorants for the textile industry. After decades of industrial operations, including a period under Buffalo Color Corporation from 1976 to the early 2000s, the facility was left abandoned until its remarkable transformation into Buffalo's premier event center. The venue features two large interior rooms that can be used separately or together, showcasing original brickwork, floor-to-ceiling windows, Georgian-esque arches, and urban industrial elements that create a distinctive atmosphere. The Powerhouse offers comprehensive event capabilities with three outdoor patios, including a rooftop patio with panoramic city views, fire pits for evening events, and intricate masonry details throughout. The venue accommodates events ranging from intimate gatherings of 100 people to large conferences of 600 or more attendees. It serves diverse industries and event types including weddings, corporate gatherings, galas, holiday parties, graduations, trade shows, public markets, and conferences. The facility provides on-site parking, handicapped accessibility, and full-service event coordination through Rich's Catering and Special Events team. As part of Rich Entertainment Group's portfolio, The Powerhouse represents a significant revitalization project that has transformed a historic industrial site into a modern entertainment destination while preserving its architectural heritage and contributing to Buffalo's ongoing urban renewal.
