Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland is a premier convention center located in downtown Cleveland, Ohio, that opened on June 7, 2013. Built by Cuyahoga County beneath the Cleveland Mall, this state-of-the-art facility replaced the older Cleveland Convention Center that was demolished to make way for the new structure. The center is managed by Legends Global and provides over 520,000 square feet of prime meeting and event space, including 225,000 square feet of Class A exhibit hall space that can be divided into three separate halls, two ballrooms totaling 43,000 square feet, and more than 50 breakout rooms. The facility features a 32,000 square foot Grand Ballroom and an 11,000 square foot newly renovated Atrium Ballroom. The center is LEED Gold certified and emphasizes sustainability with features including Cleveland's largest downtown green roof spanning 14 acres, an on-site urban farm with animals that produce herbs, eggs and honey, water refill stations, and a Grind2Energy program that converts 40,000 pounds of food waste annually to energy. Connected to the 600-room Hilton Cleveland Downtown and the Cleveland Public Auditorium with its 10,000-seat stadium-style auditorium, the venue serves as a comprehensive convention campus. The center hosts a wide variety of events from small executive meetings to large industry trade shows, conventions, weddings, and consumer shows across multiple industries including healthcare, technology, education, manufacturing, and entertainment. Located within walking distance of nearly 5,000 hotel rooms, exceptional restaurants, art galleries, theaters, entertainment districts, and professional sports venues, the facility offers convenient access to downtown Cleveland's amenities. The venue includes modern amenities such as on-site Starbucks Coffee, UPS Store, Huntington Bank ATMs, and direct access to the Huntington Park Garage with 1,200 parking spaces.
