About This Event

Copenhagen Pride Week 2026 marks the 30th anniversary of this vibrant celebration of LGBTQ+ culture, rights, and community. The event features more than 150 free events across the city, with hundreds of thousands of Copenhageners and visitors participating in what has become Scandinavia's biggest free Pride event. The week begins on Saturday August 8 and culminates with the iconic Copenhagen Pride Parade on Saturday August 15, followed by the closing celebration on Sunday August 16. City Hall Square is transformed into 'Pride Square' with community singing, dancing, live music, and celebrations of LGBTQ+ organizations. The event includes concerts, debates, drag shows, film screenings, art exhibitions, and cultural programs. More than 20,000 people participate in the Pride Parade, with over 300,000 spectators lining the route through Copenhagen's city center.
