The Leipzig Film Art Fair is the largest industry trade fair for independent arthouse cinemas in Germany and offers a platform for exchange between cinema operators, distributors, producers and other film industry professionals. Established in 2001, this annual professional and public fair provides cinema operators, film distributors, and industry experts a platform for intensive exchange over five days in September. The fair is held at several impressive locations in Leipzig and creates the perfect setting for over 60 film presentations, often shown well before their official national release. The comprehensive program includes film screenings, discussion rounds, and seminars that deepen the dialogue about the challenges and opportunities of the film art market.
