Neal S. Blaisdell Center Exhibition Hall
777 Ward Ave, Honolulu, Hawaii, United States, 96814
Neal S. Blaisdell Center Exhibition Hall is a premier exhibition venue located in the heart of Honolulu, Hawaii, serving as part of the larger Neal S. Blaisdell Center complex. Originally constructed in 1964 on the historic Ward Estate and initially called the Honolulu International Center, the facility was renamed after Mayor Neal S. Blaisdell who oversaw its construction. The Exhibition Hall underwent significant modernization and was remodeled and expanded in 1994, transforming from an open-air facility to a fully enclosed, air-conditioned space. The venue provides 65,000 square feet of exhibition space on the main floor that can expand to 85,000 square feet when combined with adjoining spaces, making it one of the main exhibition venues in Honolulu alongside the Hawaii Convention Center. The facility can accommodate 350 standard 10x10 booths and offers flexible configurations with a theatre capacity of 5,000 and banquet capacity of 3,500 for straight seating or 3,000 for rounds. The Exhibition Hall serves as an economic engine for the local community, hosting an average of 45 commercial exhibit shows per year including specialty shows like the Bridal Expo, private wholesale shows such as the Business to Business Expo, and general product shows like the Made in Hawaii Festival. The venue regularly hosts craft fairs, gun shows, family expos, job fairs, food and product shows, trade shows, consumer shows, large parties, and fundraising events. Five meeting rooms are also available within the hall for smaller gatherings and civic functions. The facility is overseen by the City and County of Honolulu's Department of Enterprise Services and offers comprehensive support services including in-house catering and audio-visual equipment rentals. Located minutes from downtown Honolulu's business district, restaurants, major shopping areas, and Waikiki hotels, the venue provides convenient access and ample parking for well-attended events.
