With a tradition dating back to 1491, the market radiates a historical aura that transports visitors back in time. The market's setting is enhanced by the imposing Hohensalzburg Fortress, creating a breathtaking backdrop. One of the standout features is the Original Salzburg Christkind, warming visitors' hearts with angel wings and golden curls. Another highlight is the Salzburger Turmblasen – a musical spectacle performed from the city's towers. Culinary delights include traditional delicacies such as gingerbread, roasted chestnuts, sausages, and mulled wine.
