About This Event
The 32nd Sarajevo Film Festival will take place from August 14 to 21, 2026. This prestigious international film festival focuses on regional cinema with the specific aim of promoting and aiding the development of regional cinema and authors. Its goal is to act as the main meeting point where international and regional cinema converge in a spirit of cooperation and cultural exchange through the presentation of the finest and most recent achievements in world cinema. The festival features competition programmes for feature films, documentaries, short films, and student films, along with various non-competitive sections. The festival also includes CineLink Industry Days, Talents Sarajevo, and various workshops and networking events. The Award Ceremony will be held on August 21st, 2026.
