About This Event

Sarajevo Photography Festival (SPF) is an annual month-long international event celebrating photography in the heart of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The opening week of the 2026 edition will take place from June 1 to June 7, featuring a program of exhibitions, workshops, lectures, panel discussions, portfolio reviews, and networking events. Exhibitions will remain up throughout the month of June. With a strong focus on socially relevant themes, SPF provides a space for diverse voices and narratives, addressing topics such as human rights, identity, and cultural heritage. The festival has received submissions from over 60 countries and has become one of the largest networking events for photographers in the region since its inception in 2022. Around 80 photographers are exhibited each year, with 24 awards granted to outstanding participants.
