SBim Graz

The SBim in Graz was established in 2008 and is organized by Bundesministerium für Bildung, Wissenschaft und Forschung. This educational and vocational information fair serves as a comprehensive platform for students, parents, and educators to explore various educational pathways and career opportunities. Leading companies showcase their training programs and provide insights into apprentice training. Another main section of the fair is the '14 Years – What Next? (14+)' school information exhibit. Designed as a 'School Type Fair', it introduces educational paths after 8th or 9th grade – from business and technical schools to institutions focusing on tourism and commerce, along with many other educational establishments. In Graz alone, primary school students have the choice among 47 different educational institutions with various emphases. The segment 'Where to after primary school? (10+)' aims to assist parents with targeted information to make their decisions. A special highlight of the fair includes diverse lectures on topics such as school and training counseling, application training, and specific apprenticeship professions. These offer visitors additional guidance and in-depth information. The SBim in Graz is more than just an informational event. It offers guidance, consultation, and inspiration in making educational choices and thus significantly shapes the educational landscape of Styria.
