About This Event

The Thessaloniki International Book Fair is an annual international book event of growing significance, established as a cultural and literary hub in Southeast Europe. Since its inception in 2004 by the National Book Centre of Greece, it has attracted a diverse audience of industry professionals and literature enthusiasts. Since 2014, it has been held under the auspices of the Hellenic Foundation for Culture. The fair combines elements of a professional trade fair with those of a public cultural festival, providing a platform for publishers, authors, booksellers, translators, librarians, and literary enthusiasts. It focuses on cultural dialogue, literary diversity, and international collaboration, featuring books across all genres, digital publishing formats, and literary initiatives.
