Waste Expo Australia 2025After a successful 2024 launch, the Government Lounge will return to Waste Expo Australia once again. Featuring Sustainability Victoria, Recycling Victoria, and EPA Victoria and located on the exhibition floor, the Government Lounge will be a hub for discussions and insights into the future of waste management and sustainability in Victoria.Returning this year is the Zero Waste Café, showcasing many of the sustainability initiatives in place supporting our journey to net zero waste. Bring your own cup for a discount at the cafe.The Waste Expo Australia Networking Drinks will be held on the first evening of the event and will be open to both exhibitors and visitors.In partnership with Victoria’s ecologiQ program, this exclusive feature explores sustainable infrastructure, innovative use of recycled materials, and low waste construction practices.

Built on the banks of the Birrarung (Yarra River), Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) Acknowledges the Traditional Owners of Narrm, the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation. We pay our respects to their Elders past and present, and to Elders of all First Nations communities that visit MCEC. We recognise the ongoing significance of the Birrarung to Traditional Owners as a life source and a meeting place for millennia and seek to honour this long-standing tradition of building community and exchanging ideas on these lands.
