Windhoek Industrial and Agricultural Show

The Windhoek Industrial and Agricultural Show (WIAS) is the biggest industrial and agricultural exhibition in Namibia, held annually during the first week of October since 1966. This premier trade fair attracts close to 100,000 visitors per year and combines an agricultural exhibition with industrial and retail offerings, plus entertainment facilities. The show features over 250 exhibitors from diverse economic sectors and public sector entities, including the Ministry of Home Affairs, NamRA, and City of Windhoek. The agricultural component includes 11 cattle breeds (400 animals) and 6 small stock breeds of goats and sheep (430 animals). The livestock program runs daily from Monday to Saturday, 07:00-21:00, accessible through the Green Gate. The event serves as a vital platform for farmers, agribusinesses, industrial companies, and the general public to connect, trade, and showcase products and services.
