About Agra Footwear Manufacturers and Exporters Chamber (AFMEC)
The Agra Footwear Manufacturers and Exporters Chamber (AFMEC) was established in 1998 and is dedicated to promoting footwear manufacturing and export from Agra, one of India's most prominent footwear hubs. AFMEC acts as a sector catalyst influencing policy decisions and encouraging the adoption of modern technology and quality standards in footwear manufacturing. The chamber represents over 100 leading footwear manufacturers and exporters, contributing approximately Rs. 3,000 crores in exports from Agra, with an ambitious goal to reach Rs. 10,000 crores. AFMEC's core mission is to enable its members to compete effectively in European, American, and other international markets.
