About APIEX - Agency for Investment and Export Promotion
APIEX (Agência para a Promoção de Investimentos e Exportações de Moçambique / Investment and Export Promotion Agency) is a public institution in Mozambique with administrative, financial and patrimonial autonomy, created through Decree no. 60/2016. APIEX is the result of the merger of the Investment Promotion Centre, the Special Economic Zone Authority, and the Institute for Export Promotion. The agency promotes and manages private and public investments of national and foreign origin, coordinates Special Economic Zones and Industrial Free Zones, and promotes national exports to stimulate economic development in Mozambique.
