About Biennale of Dakar Secretariat
The Biennale of Dakar (Dak'Art) Secretariat is the organizing body of the Dakar Biennale, one of Africa's most prestigious contemporary art events. Organized by the General Secretariat under the Ministry of Culture, Handicrafts, and Tourism of the Republic of Senegal, the Dak'Art Biennale is held every two years in Dakar, bringing together African and diaspora artists in a major international contemporary art showcase. The biennale promotes African artistic creativity, supports cultural exchange, and positions Dakar as a leading center for contemporary African art.
