CAAPA (China Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions)

CAAPA, the China Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions, is a national industry organization representing the amusement park, theme park, and leisure attractions industry in China. CAAPA brings together amusement park operators, theme park developers, rides and attractions manufacturers, equipment suppliers, and leisure industry service providers to promote the healthy development of China's rapidly growing amusement and attractions sector. China's theme park market has become the world's second largest by attendance, with major international operators including Disney, Universal Studios, and Six Flags having established parks in China alongside numerous domestic operators. As an exhibition organizer, CAAPA co-organizes or supports China's amusement park industry trade fairs and professional events, including those related to rides, attractions technology, park operations, and entertainment media. The association works in conjunction with international bodies such as IAAPA (International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions) to connect Chinese operators with global industry leaders.
