CAEXPO Secretariat

China-ASEAN Expo Secretariat (CAEXPO Secretariat) is the permanent administrative body of the China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO), one of China's most significant state-level international trade exhibitions. CAEXPO is co-sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of China, the economic and trade authorities of the ten ASEAN member states, and the ASEAN Secretariat, with the People's Government of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region as the organizer. The Secretariat is headquartered in Nanning, Guangxi, at the Nanning International Convention and Exhibition Center — the permanent venue for CAEXPO. Since its inaugural edition in 2004, CAEXPO has been held annually and has grown into a major platform for China-ASEAN trade promotion under the China-ASEAN Free Trade Agreement (CAFTA). The 22nd edition in 2025 attracted approximately 3,200 enterprises from 45 countries across 160,000 square meters of exhibition space. CAEXPO encompasses commodity trade, investment cooperation, service trade, and cultural exchange, incorporating high-level forums and business summits alongside the main exhibition.
