About Central American Corporation of Air Navigation Services (COCESNA)
The Central American Corporation of Air Navigation Services (COCESNA) is an international organization created in 1960 to provide air navigation services across Central America. COCESNA manages the FIR Central America flight information region, coordinates aeronautical telecommunications, and supports aviation safety and efficiency across its member states: Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Belize, and Panama. The corporation collaborates with ICAO and international aviation bodies, and organizes conferences and events related to aviation safety and air navigation in the region.
