China Bakery Association

China Association of Bakery and Confectionery Industry (CABCI) is a national-level industrial organization established on December 18, 1993, with approval from the Ministry of Civil Affairs of China. The association represents enterprises engaged in the production of bread, pastry, biscuits, candies, chocolate, frozen foods, instant foods, and related raw materials and equipment. As a Class-A state-level association, CABCI serves as a bridge between its members and government departments, assisting in industry management and policy implementation while protecting members' legal rights. The association organizes the annual China Bakery Exhibition (BakeryChina), which has become one of the largest professional baking industry exhibitions in Asia. CABCI's main functions include industry research, policy recommendations, standards development, quality examinations, product appraisal, personnel training, and international cooperation. The association publishes industry periodicals, organizes technical exchanges, and promotes the healthy development of China's bakery and confectionery industry through various services and initiatives.
