China Chain Store & Franchise Association (CCFA)

China Chain Store and Franchise Association (CCFA) is the official representative trade association of China's retailing and franchise industry, registered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People's Republic of China in 1997 and headquartered in Beijing. CCFA represents over 1,400 enterprise members with more than 460,000 retail outlets, including domestic and foreign-invested retailers, franchisors, suppliers, and related organizations. The total retail sales of CCFA's top member retailers exceeded USD 620 billion in 2022, accounting for approximately 11.6% of China's total social retail sales. CCFA's mission is to drive the development of China's chain store and franchise industry through policy advocacy, knowledge sharing, and cooperative platforms promoting sustainable supply chains, consumption, and operations. As a major exhibition organizer, CCFA produces the annual CHINASHOP – China's International Exhibition for Retail Technology, Franchise, and Innovation, one of the country's leading retail and franchise trade fairs attracting domestic and international exhibitors and buyers. CCFA also organizes the China Franchise Expo in multiple cities.
