About China Energy Research Society
China Energy Research Society (CERS) is a national, non-profit academic and professional organization dedicated to promoting energy science, technology, and policy research in China. Headquartered at No. 54 Sanlihe Road, Xicheng District, Beijing, CERS has over 600 corporate members and more than 50,000 individual members organized across 10 working committees, 43 professional committees, 5 branches, and 8 offices. The society organizes and co-organizes major energy sector exhibitions and conferences, most notably the Energy Storage International Conference and Expo (ESIE), jointly organized with the China Energy Storage Alliance (CNESA). CERS also supports the Beijing International Wind Energy Conference and Exhibition, SNEC International Conference on Solar Photovoltaics, and the Global Offshore Wind Conference. The society publishes energy industry research, issues annual white papers, and operates the Energy Innovation Award program to recognize technological advances. Its broad membership spans the full spectrum of China's energy sector including coal, oil and gas, nuclear, renewables, and energy storage, serving as a key bridge between industry, government regulators, and scientific research institutions.
