About China Foreign Trade Centre (CFTC)

China Foreign Trade Centre (CFTC), also known as the China Foreign Trade Centre Group Co., Ltd., is an institutional unit directly led by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China and headquartered in Guangzhou. CFTC is the organizing body and manager of the China Import and Export Fair, universally known as the Canton Fair — the world's largest and most comprehensive international trade fair, held biannually (in spring and autumn) at the China Import and Export Fair Pazhou Complex in Guangzhou since its inaugural edition in 1957. The Canton Fair is the most comprehensive in terms of exhibit variety and the broadest in terms of overseas buyer distribution among all Chinese trade fairs, attracting tens of thousands of exhibiting companies and hundreds of thousands of buyers from over 210 countries and regions every session. CFTC's exhibition history spans over six decades of experience and encompasses the management of the world's largest exhibition venue, the Pazhou Complex, with 338,000 square meters of indoor exhibition space. CFTC is dedicated to its mission of being a 'tie of friendship and bridge of trade' between China and the world.
