China Foreign Trade Guangzhou Exhibition Co., Ltd (CFTE) is the company responsible for organizing and managing the China Import and Export Fair, universally known as the Canton Fair — the world's largest trade fair by number of participants. CFTE is jointly established by the Ministry of Commerce of China and the Guangdong Provincial Government. The Canton Fair is held biannually in Guangzhou at the China Import and Export Fair Complex (Canton Fair Complex) and attracts tens of thousands of exhibitors representing Chinese manufacturers and suppliers from across all industry sectors. Products displayed span electronics, machinery, hardware, textiles, garments, chemicals, consumer goods, and specialty foods. The fair attracts hundreds of thousands of professional buyers from over 200 countries and territories during each session.
