China Higher Education Association

China Association of Higher Education (CAHE), also referred to as the China Higher Education Association, is a national academic and professional association headquartered in Beijing, dedicated to promoting research, reform, and development in the Chinese higher education sector. The association is based at Shining Building on Xueyuan Road in Haidian District and is composed of universities, research institutions, and individual members across China. CAHE organizes the Higher Education Expo China (HEEC), one of the most comprehensive trade and academic events in China's higher education sector, showcasing innovations in teaching equipment, laboratory instruments, library services, campus facilities, digital education, and scientific research tools. The association also hosts China Higher Education International Week, connecting Chinese and foreign higher education institutions to explore academic partnerships, dual-degree programs, and international cooperation frameworks. CAHE plays a key advisory role in national higher education policy formulation and regularly organizes forums involving university presidents, education ministry officials, and leading academics.
