China Medical Device Industry Association

China Medical Device Industry Association (CAMDI) is a non-profit national industry organization with corporate status, founded in 1991 and headquartered in Beijing, China. CAMDI is established on a voluntary basis by organizations and individuals engaged in the research and development, production, operation, investment, product testing, certification, consultation, and training related to medical devices. The association's mission is to represent and safeguard the common interests and legitimate rights of its members, and to promote the healthy development of China's medical device industry. CAMDI operates under the guidance and supervision of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission. As an exhibition organizer, CAMDI participates in and co-organizes major medical device trade fairs in China, including the China International Medical Equipment Fair (CMEF) — Asia's largest medical device exhibition — and other sector-specific health technology events. The association also engages in international cooperation, having signed cooperation agreements with health ministries and industry associations in multiple countries to promote China's medical device technology globally. CAMDI serves as an important bridge between the Chinese government, domestic manufacturers, and international stakeholders in the global medical device market.
