China Optics and Optoelectronics Manufactures Association

China Optics and Optoelectronics Manufactures Association (COEMA) was established in early 1987 with approval from the State Council of China. As a national social organization with legal person status approved by the Ministry of Civil Affairs, COEMA represents enterprises and institutions engaged in optics and optoelectronics research, manufacturing, and education throughout China. The association plays an advisory and assistant role to government agencies in managing the optics and optoelectronics industries. COEMA has over 1,000 registered group members organized into six branches: Laser, Infrared Technology, Optical Elements and Instruments, Optoelectronic Devices, LED Display Applications, and Liquid Crystal. Major members include leading companies such as BOE Technology, Tianma Microelectronics, and Daheng Laser, as well as prestigious research institutes. COEMA organizes the annual International Lasers, Optoelectronics and Photonics Exhibition (ILOPE), which has become a premier event in China's optoelectronics industry. The association participates in international standardization initiatives as a member of the G3 global machine vision standards cooperation.
