Cyprus Information Technology Enterprises Association (CITEA)

The Cyprus Information Technology Enterprises Association (CITEA), founded in 1987, is the principal representative body for the information and communication technology (ICT) sector in Cyprus. CITEA is an active member of the Cyprus Employers and Industrialists Federation (OEB), the European IT Federation DigitalEurope, and the World Information Technology and Services Alliance (WITSA), and it currently counts more than 100 member companies spanning all areas of ICT and communications, from local startups to multinational corporations. The Association's mission is to play a decisive role in the balanced development of ICT within the Cypriot economy, encouraging and strengthening relationships among Cypriot IT businesses while supporting the implementation of digital transformation projects across both the public and private sectors. CITEA's stated objectives include facilitating the adoption of ICT solutions and standards within government, promoting Cyprus as a regional ICT hub for high-level technology services, and representing Cypriot ICT enterprises in international arenas and bodies. The Association organizes industry events, including an annual Digital Cyprus Conference, providing a platform for industry leaders to discuss emerging technologies and their impact on business transformation.
