About Fédération Marocaine de Plasturgie
Fédération Marocaine de Plasturgie (FMP), founded in 2010, is a Moroccan industry association created to develop the country's plastics processing (plasturgy) sector and to represent and defend it at the national and international levels. The federation is responsible for the economic and technical interests of the various professions and member companies operating in Morocco's plastics industry, working to inform and support local plastics operators in their development, both domestically and internationally, by facilitating connections and partnerships. FMP addresses the full range of issues affecting the sector, including economic, social, technical, financial, and customs-related matters, positioning itself as the voice of Morocco's plastics processing industry. The federation organizes major industry events, including Plast Expo, an international trade exhibition for the plastics, rubber, composites, and petrochemicals sectors, and the Forum-Exposition International de la Plasturgie, described as Africa's first dedicated business platform for the plasturgy sector. FMP also brings together several specialized member associations representing sub-sectors such as plastic bag and packaging manufacturers, woven polypropylene packaging producers, plastics suppliers, and plastic waste recycling and valorization companies.
