INDIAN CHEMICAL COUNCIL (formerly Indian Chemical Manufacturers Association), established in 1938, is dedicated to the growth and promotion of the Chemical Industry in India. ICC supports and promotes all branches of the industry through a variety of events, trainings, awards & recognitions, policy advice and other useful activities.

The Indian Chemical Council (ICC) is dedicated to the growth and development of the chemical industry in India. Founded in 1938 as the Indian Chemical Manufacturers Association (ICMA), by Acharya P.C Ray and Rajmitra B.D. Amin. it was rebranded as ICC to reflect its broader representation of the entire chemical value chain, including basic chemicals, specialty chemicals, agrochemicals, petrochemicals, and pharmaceuticals. With a legacy of over eight decades, ICC plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of India's chemical industry by working closely with industry stakeholders, policymakers, regulatory authorities, academia, and international organizations. The Council is committed to promoting safe, sustainable, and globally competitive practices across the sector.
