Invest Selangor Berhad, founded in 1999, is the premier one-stop state government agency for the Malaysian state of Selangor, headquartered in Shah Alam, dedicated to providing information, advisory services, and start-up or expansion assistance to potential and existing investors. The agency facilitates investment by supporting contact management and communication with government agencies, helping secure application approvals, identifying suitable industrial land and properties, and introducing investors to property and land owners across Selangor's industrial ecosystem. Since its inception, Invest Selangor Berhad has attracted more than 5,984 manufacturing projects to the state, indirectly creating more than 446,828 jobs and over RM198.6 billion in manufacturing investments. The organization operates through specialized divisions, including the Investment Development Division, which drives investment attraction and ecosystem development; the Selangor Darul Ehsan Aerospace Industry Coordination Office, positioning Selangor as a destination for the aerospace and aviation industry; and S-BIOCO, focused on developing the state's biotechnology sector. Invest Selangor Berhad also organizes the Selangor International Business Summit (SIBS), a recurring event connecting ASEAN and non-ASEAN businesses with opportunities to explore the Malaysian market and the broader ASEAN region, and is led by CEO Dato' Hasan Azhari Hj Idris.
