Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) is a private deemed university founded in 1992 as an Industrial Training Institute by Achyuta Samanta, C.R. Mishra and P.K. Mishra. KIIT offers 34 undergraduate, 32 postgraduate, 10 integrated and 11 Ph.D programs across 26 constituent schools in fields including engineering, management, medicine, law, biotechnology and social sciences totaling 200+ programs. The sprawling campus spans 200 acres across 12 urban clusters in Bhubaneswar with 30,000 students. KIIT is NAAC A+-accredited and ABET USA-certified for six engineering programs.
