About Kerala Gold & Silver Merchants Association (KGSMA)

All Kerala Gold & Silver Merchants Association (AKGSMA) was founded in 1945 under the visionary leadership of R. Parameswaran Pillai, Bheema Pattar and P.T. Cherian. With over 7,000 members, AKGSMA represents the gems and jewellery trade community across Kerala. The unified organization has headquarters in Alappuzha with offices in Kochi including P.T. Cherian Gold Bhavan. AKGSMA pioneered the 'One India, One Gold Rate' initiative, successfully implemented across Kerala and adopted by seven South Indian states, ensuring standardized gold pricing. The association was restructured in recent years under President Justin Palathra to strengthen its advocacy and industry representation.

Our Portfolio

Organizes Kerala Jewellery International Fair, a major platform connecting jewellery manufacturers, traders, suppliers and buyers. Events showcase gold and silver jewellery, gemstones and related products, facilitating B2B transactions and industry networking.
