LTD Edition (Limited Edition), founded by Gurminder Matharu, is a sustainable fashion and lifestyle exhibition brand based in India, dedicated to bringing eco-friendly, organic, and evergreen sustainable fashion and lifestyle products to the forefront. The company's roots trace back to 1994, when its India office was established under the name Colveta India Ltd as part of the Coltex retail group, a holding company operating four well-known fashion retail brands with stores in the Netherlands and Belgium. Following a 2015 acquisition by the Belgian FNG group, the India team operated seven retail brands for the European market until a bankruptcy in 2020, during the Covid-19 pandemic, ended more than 30 years of service to that market. Rather than closing down, the India team relaunched as LTD Edition, pivoting toward a sustainable fashion exhibition platform connecting conscious consumers with eco-friendly brands and manufacturers. The company has been recognized with the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China (EUCCC) Sustainable Business Award in 2020 for its world-first post-consumer recycled polypropylene (RPP) products, and it offers procurement services spanning sourcing, sampling, production, and packaging, with an emphasis on supplier compliance and certification throughout its sustainable supply chain.
