The All India Plastics Manufacturers’ Association established in 1945 is the oldest and the largest apex body to promote development and growth of Indian Plastics Industry. 90% of Membership of AIPMA is from MSME Sector. AIPMA promotes Plastic Parks and Job Fairs are held regularly jointly with Technical Institutes to address employment issues in Plastics Industry.

Being a Legendary Plastics Association, AIPMA is recognized by the Chemical & Fertilizers Ministry, Department of Petrochemicals, Government of India, and has representation at various Union & State Government Ministries to voice concerns and difficulties faced by the plastic industry. AIPMA also plays a role in budgetary structure recommendations, monitoring uniformity in government regulations and chalking out strategies and policies for the plastic industry.
