The Institute of Indian Foundrymen (The IIF), set up in 1950 is the all India Association of the metal-casting industry and acts as a nodal point of reference for customers and suppliers of foundry industry. Headquartered at Kolkata, IIF operates through 4 Regional Offices at Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai & Chennai; 4 Centres of Excellence at Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata & Pune and 24 Chapters and one activity centre spread all over India. The Institute is a member of the World Foundry Organization (WFO), Asia Foundry Forum (AFF), BRICS Foundry Forum, Foundry Development Council (FDC) and Confederation of Indian Industry
