About Turkish Contractors Association (Türkiye Müteahhitler Birliği)
The Turkish Contractors Association (TCA), founded in 1952 and headquartered in Ankara, is an independent, non-profit professional organization representing the leading construction companies in Turkey. The association's members account for nearly 70 percent of all domestic and 90 percent of all international contracting work carried out by Turkish construction companies, and from the early 1970s through the end of 2025, Turkish contractors affiliated with TCA have completed more than 12,827 projects across 138 countries, with a cumulative business volume abroad reaching approximately 557.5 billion US dollars. In addition to offering contracting services at international standards both within and outside Turkey, nearly 75 percent of TCA members are also active in other areas of the construction industry, including building materials manufacturing, engineering, consulting, and investments in sectors such as energy, tourism, health, and transport. TCA continues to engage in advocacy and international relations on behalf of Turkey's construction sector, including participation in the World Water Council's Board of Directors and ongoing diplomatic engagement with foreign delegations interested in expanding sectoral cooperation with Turkish contractors.
