Hilton Houston Post Oak by the Galleria is a premier 14-story, 490,000-square-foot hotel and event venue located in the heart of Houston's vibrant Uptown business district. Originally developed by Hines and opened in 1982 as The Warwick Post Oak Hotel, this sophisticated property was later acquired by Hilton Hotel Corporation and is now managed through its subsidiary. Designed by world-renowned architect I.M. Pei, the hotel features signature glass archways and elegant surroundings that create a distinctive architectural presence. The venue offers 29,855 square feet of total event space across 18 meeting rooms, including the magnificent Grand Ballroom with 18-foot high ceilings adorned with French-inspired Louis XIV-style crystal chandeliers, gold leaf accents, and floor-to-ceiling mirrors. The largest room setup accommodates 10,360 square feet, making it ideal for large-scale exhibitions, corporate events, weddings, and conferences. The hotel serves diverse industries including oil and energy companies, technology firms, medical organizations, and international corporations, hosting everything from intimate boardroom meetings to grand celebrations for up to 750 guests. Key facilities include 448 guest rooms and suites with private balconies offering impressive Houston skyline views, multiple dining venues including The Promenade restaurant and The Brittany Bar, a second-floor outdoor pool with spacious sundeck, 24-hour fitness center, and complimentary shuttle service within a 3-mile radius. The venue's strategic location places it just one block from The Galleria shopping mall, 30 minutes from both George Bush Intercontinental and Houston Hobby airports, and 15 minutes from downtown Houston, the George R. Brown Convention Center, and the Texas Medical Center, making it a geographically significant hub for business and leisure travelers in the greater Houston metropolitan area.
