Xinjiang International Convention and Exhibition Center is a landmark large-scale public architecture situated at the foot of Hongguang Hill in Shuimogou District, Urumqi, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. The center covers an area of approximately 320,000 square meters with a total indoor exhibition area of 115,000 square meters and open-air exhibition space of 60,000 square meters. It houses six main exhibition halls capable of accommodating 8,000 booths and up to 4,000 attendees simultaneously. Taking design inspiration from the artistic notion of a shining moon rising over the Tianshan Mountains, the center features a curvaceous ellipsoid conference building and large-span truss strings with the third-largest span in China at 108 meters. The center serves as the permanent main venue for the China-Eurasia Expo, an annual international trade platform under the Belt and Road Initiative, attracting exhibitors and visitors from across Central Asia, Russia, and China.
