Light! Design Expo 2026

Light! Design Expo is an annual event hosted by the San Francisco Section of the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) that showcases the latest in architectural lighting products and innovations. This free-to-attend expo is open to the architecture, design, and construction community, featuring a variety of product showcases, free AIA/LU and IDECEC/CEU accredited seminars, and networking opportunities. The event takes place at Pier 27 with beautiful panoramic views of the San Francisco Bay and waterfront. Attendees can meet with representatives from lighting manufacturers, architects, interior designers, and other industry professionals. The expo includes complimentary cuisine from local San Francisco food trucks, dessert carts, coffee bars, and no-host top shelf bars. A Project Exhibition Gallery displays current local lighting projects featuring collaborative work of local designers and manufacturers.
