SJMADE Fest

History Park San José is a unique 14-acre outdoor historical museum and event venue located at Kelley Park in San Jose, California. Established in 1971, this gated facility is designed to appear as a small American town from the early 1900s, featuring over 32 historic buildings and replica structures that have been moved from their original locations or carefully reconstructed. The venue serves as both a cultural heritage site and a premier event destination, operated by History San José, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The park includes original and reproduction homes, businesses, and landmarks that reveal Santa Clara Valley's rich past, complete with paved streets, running vintage trolleys, and beautifully landscaped grounds. Key facilities include the Pacific Hotel, Empire Fire House, Bank of Italy, working print shop, doctor's office, dentist's office, blacksmith shed, post office, and numerous historic houses representing early Santa Clara Valley settlers. The venue offers four expansive outdoor rental spaces that can accommodate up to 35,000 guests for large festivals, plus two indoor meeting spaces for smaller gatherings. History Park hosts diverse events including cultural festivals, educational programs, corporate meetings, weddings, and community celebrations. The facility features ample parking, trolley rides on weekends, and serves as headquarters for 19 partner cultural organizations.
