San José Made

San José Made is a San José-based exhibition organizer founded in 2011 with the singular mission of helping creative small businesses grow their business and brand in San José and the surrounding San Francisco Bay Area. In 2017, San José Made was acquired by Moveable Feast, a San José based food truck services and food festival production company, which has since become Moveable, a full-stack food and beverage services, events, experiences and marketing company. The organization has developed a multifaceted, flexible, empathetic and accommodating strategy that includes large scale events, pop-up retail, dynamically programmed micro-retail storefronts, small curated markets, social media campaigns celebrating small businesses, maker meet-ups, and community creative initiatives. San José Made operates an online shop featuring over 4,000 products made by creative small businesses and manages multiple retail storefronts through their MOMENT program. The company organizes six annual large-scale craft fairs and numerous smaller maker markets, regularly attracting over 200,000 attendees each year. Their major events include SJMADE Fest, SJMADE Summer Fair, SJMADE Holiday Fair, Friend Fest, Stationery Depot, and various seasonal markets. San José Made works with a community of over 2,000 creative small businesses including makers, artists, designers, illustrators, crafters, and artisans, providing them with high-visibility opportunities to grow their businesses through craft fairs, maker markets, and retail storefront programs throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
