About This Event

The 9th WONCA Africa Region Conference will bring together family doctors, primary health care providers, educators, researchers and policymakers to focus on high quality community based care and planetary health across Africa. The theme is 'We Are One: Africa united to advance planetary health through collaboration and resource alignment in primary health care'. The programme will explore how family medicine can respond to health, social and climate challenges and support resilient, people centred primary health care. The conference will highlight youth and future leaders in primary health care, and encourage collaboration on research, education and advocacy that improves the health of both people and the planet. The event is hosted by the Botswana Association of Family Physicians (BAOFP).
