Alliant Energy Center
1919 Alliant Energy Center Way, Madison, Alabama, United States, 53713
Alliant Energy Center is a multi-building complex located in Madison, Wisconsin, serving as a premier destination for diverse events and conventions. The center comprises 164 acres of greenspace and includes multiple world-class facilities including the 255,000-square-foot Exhibition Hall, the 10,000-seat Veterans Memorial Coliseum, the 29-acre Willow Island outdoor venue, the 22,000-square-foot Arena, and the 290,000-square-foot New Holland Pavilions. Originally established in 1895 when the Agricultural Society and Dane County purchased 250 acres for the Dane County Fair, the venue has evolved into one of Wisconsin's largest convention and event complexes. The center welcomes more than one million people attending more than 500 events annually, ranging from local meetings and banquets to large sporting events, major concerts, trade shows, consumer shows, agricultural exhibitions, and conventions. The Exhibition Hall, completed in 1995, features 14 meeting rooms totaling 20,000 square feet, four exhibit halls ranging from 20,000 to 100,000 square feet, and serves as the largest unobstructed facility for trade and consumer shows in Wisconsin. Veterans Memorial Coliseum, built in 1967 and completely renovated in 2004-2005, has hosted legendary performers including Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, Pink Floyd, and The Who. The venue serves industries including agriculture, manufacturing, healthcare, technology, automotive, and consumer goods, with major annual events like World Dairy Expo and CrossFit Games. Located on the south side of Madison off John Nolen Drive and Rimrock Road, the center offers over 5,800 paved and lit parking spaces, on-site catering services, high-speed internet throughout the campus, and is directly connected to the Spark Hotel by Hilton Madison Central via climate-controlled walkway.
