About World Dairy Expo
World Dairy Expo is a premier non-profit organization that has been serving the global dairy industry since 1967, originally starting as the World Food Exposition. Founded by the World Food and Agricultural Foundation and later reorganized as World Dairy Expo Inc. in 1970, the organization has grown to become the largest and most important dairy-focused event in North America. The organization became a not-for-profit entity in 1993 and established World Dairy Expo Management Inc. as a for-profit subsidiary in 1998 to provide revenue for full-time year-round staff operations. World Dairy Expo hosts the world's largest dairy-focused trade show annually in Madison, Wisconsin, featuring over 450 companies from 15 countries and attracting more than 60,000 attendees from nearly 100 countries. The event combines a world-class dairy cattle show showcasing the best genetics in North America with cutting-edge technology exhibitions, educational seminars, youth programs, and industry networking opportunities. The organization is governed by a Board of Directors comprised of business professionals and dairy producers representing various dairy industry organizations, established in 1970 when World Dairy Expo Inc. was formed. The event is recognized by Trade Show Executive as one of the Top 100 Trade Shows and remains the only Wisconsin event in the Tradeshow Week Top 200 rankings.
