The American Composites Manufacturers Association (ACMA), founded in 1979, describes itself as the world's largest composites industry trade group, representing the complete North American supply chain for the fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) composites industry. Its membership spans manufacturers, material and equipment suppliers, distributors, academic institutions, and end users, all working together to grow the composites market. ACMA promotes the competitive advantage and versatility of composite materials across end markets including aerospace, automotive, marine, construction, infrastructure, defense, and industrial applications. The association delivers educational resources through its Education Hub, the Certified Composites Technician (CCT) program, specialty conferences, and its flagship annual industry event, CAMX.
