AmericanHort, founded on January 1, 2014, through the consolidation of the American Nursery and Landscape Association (ANLA, roots dating to 1876) and the Association of Horticultural Professionals (OFA), is headquartered in Columbus, Ohio with an office in Washington, D.C. AmericanHort is the largest national nursery, greenhouse, and garden retail membership association in North America, serving more than 1,800 company members. The organization represents the entire horticulture industry including growers, retailers, distributors, landscape professionals, and manufacturers. AmericanHort organizes the annual Cultivate event and advocates for the industry on legislative and regulatory matters.
