Australian Automotive Dealer Association Ltd

The Australian Automotive Dealer Association (AADA) is the peak industry advocacy body exclusively representing franchised new car and truck dealers in Australia. It represents the interests of around 1,500 new car dealers operating more than 3,900 dealerships nationwide, ranging from family-owned small businesses to larger publicly owned operations. Formed in its current structure in December 2013, AADA brings dealerships from across the country together under one voice, negotiating with legislators, government regulators and vehicle manufacturers on issues such as taxation, competition regulation, consumer law and compliance legislation. The Association is governed by a Board comprising dealers from each Australian state and territory, plus independently elected members, ensuring representation from both small rural dealerships and large metropolitan operations. AADA publishes the Automotive Dealer magazine and hosts the annual AADA Convention & Expo, drawing several hundred delegates together with industry speakers and workshops each year.
