Autotech Council

The Autotech Council is a membership-based community of auto manufacturers, Tier 1 vendors, and mobility investors based in Silicon Valley, formed in 2012 by forward-thinking automotive companies and their major vendor partners to help discover innovation in the mobility space. The Council bridges the gap between innovative startups, which can be hard for large organizations to find, and the traditional automotive supply chain, which has historically been slower to change. Since its founding, membership has expanded well beyond traditional automotive players to include companies and investors working in air transportation, drones, robotics, artificial intelligence, materials, and energy. Members gather for monthly topic-focused meetings where startups present new technologies, alongside an Annual Demo Day & Science Fair where companies across the mobility ecosystem showcase their innovations side by side. The Council also offers a curated MatchMaker meeting service that arranges private, pre-screened one-on-one meetings between companies with mutual business interest, supporting both in-person and virtual engagement for its members.
